Biography
Third son of Prince-elector later Grand Duke Carl Friedrich av Baden. Successor 1817. Succeeded his nephew Grand Duke Carl as Grand Duke Ludwig I 1818. Uncle to Queen Frederika, consort of King Gustaf IV Adolf.
Received the order at the visit of King Gustaf IV Adolf in Baden.
