Biography
Son of Prince Willem of Orange-Nassau, Governor of the Netherlands. Prince of Fulda and Corvey 1802-07. Succeeded his father as Prince 1806. Prince of the Netherlands 1813. As Willem I King of the Netherlands and Duke of Luxembourg 1815. Abdicated and assumed the title King Willem Frederik, Count of Nassau 1840.
