Biography
Oldest son of King Maximilian I. Succeeded him as King 1825. Abdicated 1848 and was succeeded by his son King Maximillian II. Uncle to Queen Josefina, King Oskar I’s consort.
The national herald at the Chancery of the Royal Orders in the Kingdom of Norway 1823-1832.
Received the order in conjunction with the coronation of King Oscar I.
