Biography
Fourth son of Duke Maximilian of Leuchtenberg, a younger brother to Queen Joesfina of Sweden, King Oscar I:s consort. Succeeded his brother Duke Eugen as Duke of Leuchtenberg 1901.
Received the order as Russian representative at his aunt Queen Dowager Josefinas funeral.
