Biography
Under regency of Empress Zewditu of Ethiopia 1916, with whom he was second cousin through his grandmother. Succeeded her as Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia 1930. Exiled during the Italian occupation 1936-1941. Dethroned 1974 and later murdered.
Assigned the collar during a state visit to Sweden.
