Biography
Son of Prince Carl of Denmark, later King Haakon VII of Norway. Crown Prince of Norway 1905. Succeeded his father as King Olav V 1957. Married 1929 with Princess Märtha of Sweden.
Received the order in conjunction with the wedding of Princess Astrid of Sweden and Crown Prince Léopold of Belgium. Assigned the collar in conjunction with King Gustaf V’s 80th birthday.
