Biography
Oldest son of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. Heir Apparent until 1931. Resigned his right to the throne 1933 and adopted the title Count of Covadonga. Suffered from hemophilia and died in a car accident. Received the order at King Gustaf V’s state visit to Spain.
