Biography
Oldest son of Emperor Haile-Sellasie I of Ethiopia. Declared Crown Prince 1930. Succeeded his father as Pretender to the Throne 1975.
Received the order at a state visit to Sweden. Had already received the Order of the Vasa at Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf’s visit to Ethiopia.
