Biography
Son of Prince Jérôme. French Prince styled as Imperial Highness 1852. After the death of his father in 1860 next in line after the Crown Prince. Italian Count of Moncalieri 1870. Succeeded the Crown Prince as the Head of the House of Bonaparte in 1879. Received the order during a visit to Sweden.
