Biography
Son of Prince Wilhelm of Baden, a younger brother to Grand Duke Friedrich I of Baden. Thorough his mother Princess Maria Romonovskij, Princess of Leuchtenberg, cousin to King Oscar II of Sweden. Successor to the throne 1907. Succeeded Grand Duke Friedrich II of Baden in 1928 as Head of the House and pretender to the throne with the title Margrave and styled Royal Highness.
