Biography
Son of Prince Maximilian of Baden and first cousin once removed to Grand Duke Friedrich II of Baden and Queen Victoria of Sweden, King Gustaf V’s consort. Hereditary Prince 1928. Succeeded his father as Head of the Royal House and Pretender to the throne with the title Margrave and styled Royal Highness 1929. Died in a car accident.
Received the order at King Gustaf V’s 70th birthday.
