Biography
Son of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Succeeded him as Grand Duke 1897 during regency until 1901. Abdicated 1918.

Received the order at the wedding between Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Princess Ingrid of Sweden.
